There are interesting and delicious seafood centric menu options, such as crab and lobster lasagna, crab cake topped with shrimp, crab cake BLT, and lobster pot pie. Their sushi bar is fresh with sushi, clams, and ousters. The portions are filling and worth the money, as there may even be some to take home. If you happen to have room for dessert, some favorites are the banana cream pie and the New York cheesecake. For large events, the chocolate covered strawberries are a simple, yet delicious plate for everyone. They have a typical beer selection, yet a nice wine selection, and the cocktails are strong and worth the price.
Being one of the best steak and seafood places around midtown, the perfect addition to an afternoon or evening of seeing a show or a celebration will be that much more memorable with a meal at the Redeye Grill. Between the menu options and high quality of food and service, no one will go away unsatisfied.

Although restaurants typically cater to a certain clientele or price range, restaurants like Vesuvio is more versatile. Vesuvio is located in the historically Italian southwestern Brooklyn neighborhood of Bay Ridge in what has now become an area of diverse Third Avenue commonly known as Restaurant Row.
Firstly, Vesuvio is easy to get to from the 77th Street R train. The front of the restaurant has a ramp, so it is wheelchair accessible.
Once you enter the restaurant, there is a takeout counter with such Italian delights as calzones and pizza slices in the window. To the right and left are two sections of the dining room, and you will be seated by a friendly staff that immediately makes their customers feel like family.
Once you get seated, the order is placed and brought out quick. Throughout the meal, the staff is walking around checking on their tables, while still not being forceful or aggressive.
Vesuvio has been popular with the locals since the 1950's. There is one word explaining why, and that's the pasta. But when in Rome, do as the Romans, or in this case the Neapolitans, since that's this restaurant's regional influence. Eat a lot!
Start with the mozzarella di casa, which is a plate of homemade mozzarella balls with roasted peppers and tomatoes cooked in olive oil, great for mozzarella fanatics everywhere. For the entree, their gooey lasagna with homemade noodles and red sauce will make you feel like you are in the kitchen of an Italian grandmother back in the old country. For dessert, go with the authentic Italian cheesecake, which is made from ricotta cheese instead of the usual American style made from cream cheese.
For larger parties, such as corporate events, parties, or a formal family dinner, Vesuvio has private rooms available for booking. In order to reserve the private room, the restaurant requires a three hundred dollar deposit. It is well worth it though because your party will enjoy a full three course meal, unlimited soda and American coffee, and a cake for the occasion. Each entree includes roasted vegetables and potatoes, both served family style. The packages include standard, traditional, deluxe, and kids parties.
Each package comes with its own food selections as the starter, pasta, and entree portions. The difference between the standard and traditional packages is the appetizers. The standard comes with a family style starter of calamari Fritti, salad, or zucchini sticks. The traditional package comes with individual plates of mozzarella di casa, cold Antipasto, or salad. Both come with Penne Al Filetto di Pomodoro or Vodka Sauce as the pasta, and broiled salmon filets, chicken Francese, Veal Parmigiana, or veal Marsala.
The deluxe would be a good choice for a wedding party or a formal occasion because it even comes with a champagne toast. Fill up on appetizers because not only is there a selection of three family style appetizers, but each person chooses an individual plate of either mozzarella di casa, salad, or cold Antipasto. Choose two pastas from rigatoni caprese, Linguini Vongole, and Rigatoni Broccoli Rabe. Get really full when it comes time for the appetizers with four choices from the following; broiled salmon filet, shrimp Francese, chicken Vesuvio, Chicken Scarpariello, Limone, Beef Braciola, or broiled shell steak.
The kids will have a great time at their birthday parties at Vesuvio making their own pizza and chef hat. There is a fifteen person minimum to hold a pizza making party.
If you find yourself in Bay Ridge, have a casual dinner at Vesuvio. Even better, no matter the occasion, book a room at Vesuvio where everyone eats like a king and is treated like family.

Not only should marijuana be legal in Ohio, there is a huge benefit from legalizing it. The issue is that Ohio is setting itself up to do it all wrong with Issue 3.
Ohio is an influential state
Ohio is known as a swing state in federal elections, and that could work in favor of marijuana legalization at the federal level. While this makes many activists happy, it could be bad for Ohioans.
Issue 3 is a proposal that will legalize marijuana both medical and recreational. While individuals will be able to grow a limited number of plants, they will not be able to sell it. This means that small and medium sized marijuana dispensaries will be illegal unlike Colorado. There will be ten large corporations that will be allowed to sell commercially. They are backed by a select few, and it is this few that will benefit from the legalization. It will create a monopoly, and the prices will likely be higher than in states where it is not a monopoly.
Having this monopoly will just encourage the illegal selling and trafficking of marijuana to avoid the high cost of the monopolized Ohio market, much in the same way states like New York deal with cigarette smuggling to avoid New York ' s high taxes. One of the issues that marijuana legalization is supposed to solve is the stress on the criminal justice system regarding drug offenses. Issue 3 will create a lucrative black market and not help the criminal justice system in Ohio at all.
Marijuana has been shown to relieve some medical conditions, such as pain. If someone doesn't have the means to grow their own plants, they may not be able to afford the monopolized marijuana. It will create hardship for them, which contradicts the principles of the medicinal marijuana advocates.
If Issue 3 does pass in Ohio, it will change Ohio’s constitution. As long as marijuana is not legalized federally, any changes made to the new constitutional amendment will need to go through a long process in order to get changed.
The concept of marijuana legalization is supposed to be progressive and benefit the masses, but Issue 3 is anything but. Ohio, as well as every other state that hasn't done so already, needs to legalize marijuana. It is important though that Ohioans consider reproaching the subject in a different way than what Issue 3 currently provides.

Sparks Steak House
Aside from Italian food, New York City is most well-known for its steak houses. Sparks Steak House is one of the most famous steak houses in New York City, as it's been a part of Manhattan since 1966. Even though Sparks Steak House was recently voted one of the most expensive steakhouses in the United States by Yahoo Finance, that's not stopping loyal patrons from enjoying the finest steak in New York City.
if you are going to eat at Sparks, go all out. The Bufala Mozzarella with sliced tomato is a light choice for an appetizer that will still allow plenty of room for the center of the meal, the steak. When it comes to the main course, portions are huge. Filet or sirloin: you can't go wrong. Medium rare is the most popular option of cooking, and they cook it to perfection. The portion sizes are large enough for two people to share, especially if you can't take leftovers with you. , for some strange reason, you are not in the mood for steak, the lobsters at Sparks are some of the largest served, ranging from three to five and a half pounds each.
There is also an extensive wine and bourbon list at Sparks to drink with your meal or socialize at the bar before or afterwards. While it’s pricey, it has some of the best selections.
The restaurant displays its foundation in New York City well with its old school charm. There is antique furniture throughout. The walls are covered in pictures of the city throughout the years.
Reservations are recommended, as this Manhattan restaurant is popular with locals and tourists alike. It's an upscale, classy restaurant, so dress to impress. It makes for a great date spot or to take out of town guests. There are several large, banquet rooms of varying sizes for parties or special events.
The staff is professional and attentive. They are quick on things, such as refills, and they are accommodating to requests.
Sparks is not just known for steak. In 1985, Mafia crime boss, Paul Castellano, was assassinated by John Gotti's hit men in front of the restaurant. This gave Gotti control of the Gambino crime family.
There is certainly a reason that Spark's Steak House is the best steakhouses in New York City. They have perfected the art of a good steak. Once you try it, they will have you going back for more.
Sparks Steak House has had plenty of time to perfect their steaks throughout the years. So whether you are a steak connoisseur or just want to be inside one of New York City’s finest restaurants, a good meal with drinks at Sparks Steak House will not disappoint.

I am not mechanically inclined in the least, and home improvement projects tend to make me run and hide... however, this shower head was simple to install. Simply unscrew the old shower head and replace it with this new one!
I was really impressed with the expensive-like quality of this showerhead, without the price tag. With 7 different settings that each feel like you are showering in the rain, you can relax in your shower without worrying about wasting water, as this has a 2.5 gallons per minute water saving option. I loved the classic chrome finish, and with our issues with hard water, I was really glad for the rust-proof and corrosion resistance in the finish!
Overall, I am very pleased with this new shower head. We can change the pressure for each member of the family and all enjoy the perfect shower.

You love to write and you would like to see your favorite hobby turn into some extra money. Writing online can be lucrative, but finding legitimate, well-paying gigs is a challenge. Below are the three most common sources of writing income for writers just starting their career.
Examples: iWriter, TextBroker, Constant Content
Content mills are websites with a dedicated interface and editing team specifically geared towards web content. Webmasters post a subject, article length and any special instructions on the site and interested writers create the articles. Because the pay is per article, writers have complete flexibility over their schedule. These are great for the writer without any prior web writing experience and can help you to get a feel for the format and expectations of writing for the web.
Process: Writers create an account with the site and go through a screening process, which normally involves a basic grammar test and a sample. Once the account is approved, you can then start submitting work and getting paid.
Pros: These sites have a near constant availability of work, so even if you like to write at 2 am on a Tuesday, you are likely to find paying gigs. They also have the infrastructure in place to pay on a regular basis, normally weekly.
Cons: Content mills have a deserved reputation for being low paying, at least at first. Talented writers can often move up the ranks, but only after producing a large number of low paying articles. Revision requests are also common.
Average pay per 100 words: $.50-$1
Examples: eLance, oDesk, Freelancer
Freelancing websites match clients and freelancers. Many of the jobs posted on these sites are intended to be long-term commitments and as such, writers will be expected to produce a high-volume of writing. Clients post the job description on the website and writers bid on each opportunity, hoping to get hired. In a lot of ways, freelance websites are like applying for a traditional job.
Process: Like with content mills, writers create an account and go through a testing process. They then upload a resume or portfolio and create an engaging profile to attract clients. Once the initial legwork is done, writers bid on jobs and submit cover letters, resumes and samples before being hired.
Pros: Freelancing websites are best suited for writers with a schedule who are looking for the stability of a full or part time job. Instead of being paid per article, writers have the option of being paid hourly, which ensures that even if an article is rejected, you will still get paid. The freelancing site handles all payroll, which eliminates the need to invoice clients or keep track of how much you are owed.
Cons: These are international marketplaces, which means you are likely competing with other writers all over the world. The process for getting hired can be cumbersome. Additionally, many of the job postings are extremely low paid, so weeding through the bad offers to find a good one consumes much of the time that you could spend on writing.
Average pay per 100 words: Varies greatly. Some pay as little as $5 for ten articles and others pay at rates similar to print publishing.
Examples: ACR Writing
Writing teams are a balanced option compared with the other two options. Teams are organized through a work board, such as Trello or Basecamp and work is posted as it becomes available. These are intimate groups who often work on specialized projects. Like content mills, the pay is generally per article, making it a good choice for those who need flexibility.
Process: Writers find the team, either through a website or through knowing someone on the team. Typically, the hiring process is simpler, as the team leader generally requires a form and a sample to proceed with hiring. Once approved, then writing begins.
Pros: Writing teams often have high quantities of work available as long as the projects continue. Pay rates are typically higher and more consistent than with the other two options. Teams are often a cohesive group, which creates a sense of community not present with other options.
Cons: These can be very difficult to find. Typically writers need to know someone on the team to be referred. Because the team is paid when a project concludes, pay schedules can be erratic.
Average pay per 100 words: $1-5
For those who are interested in starting a career in writing, the web offers numerous opportunities. Content mills, freelancing websites and teams are just the beginning. Strategic use of them will help set you on a path towards a fulfilling career.
Parties are fun, fun for adults and fun for kids. A big trending theme for kids parties these days is "How to Train Your Dragon" by Dreamworks. The premise behind the movie is forging your own path, not conforming to what society around you wants to do, and ultimately training dragons instead of slaying them. If you want to throw an epic "How To Train Your Dragon" party, simply follow these steps.
As you may know from watching the tv show or the movies that a big part of "How to Train Your Dragon" is becoming a dragon trainer. So as the guests show up you can have it so that they arrive for dragon training and if they become successful in their tasks then they will leave the party as qualified dragon trainers.
As the guests arrive at the party have them sit down and make their shield. The dragon trainers in the first movie are told that shields are an essential part of fighting dragons, so you can't skip this. Things you will need:
Steps to making the shield:
Have the guests decorate the shield with either the sharpies or stickers (or both) and use the duct tape for the strap where the guests hold the shield. Take two pieces of tape one piece about 8 inches long and one piece about 5 inches long. Put the two pieces of tape together sticky side in and put the two ends of the long piece of tape on the plate to create a place for the guests to hold the shield.
Party Hard, Play Harder
To become fully qualified dragon trainers, the guests have to complete several training exercises.
First have the guests create foam “dragons” that they can fly through rings of fire. Each guest had to stand a set distance from hula hoops and launch the dragons to try to get them through a ring of fire (hula hoop).
After this you can have a Dragon Trainer obstacle course. I divided the guests into two teams. Set up an obstacle course around the place where you are having the event with simple obstacles for them to perform. They have to wield their foam swords and shield, and make their way through an obstacle course.
Next you can give each guest a can of silly string and have them seek out dragons hiding around the place of event. Print out pictures of some dragons from How to Train your Dragon and they have to find 10 dragons to spray with silly string in 5 minutes.
Once the guests successfully navigate all of the dragon training exercises, they become full fledged dragon trainers and they get to become owners of dragon stuffed animals.
Eat Like A Dragon Trainer
A main component of parties is serving food for your guests. When it comes to children, the type of food served does not have to be complex, just dress up ordinary snacks and use cool names that go with the theme!
Cupcakes/cake: Ask a local bakery if they have "How to Train Your Dragon style" cake or cupcakes available to order, or if you prefer you can make your own cake and use decorations that you purchase on your own.
Dragon Fire Balls: Cheese puffs in a decorated jar
Dragon Teeth: Bugles in a jar
Dragon food: Multi flavored goldfish in a jar
Set The Stage
Decorations are an important part of drawing your guests into the party theme. In order to set the mood and inspire your guests to get into the party, these are the things you will need:
It seems like kids always wait until the last minute to let parents know about school projects. Your child has a presentation due in the morning and needs an easel to present with, but you don’t have time to go to the store and buy one. Here’s a quick and easy way to make a paper easel with supplies you already have around the house!
1. Print the pattern on a piece of printer paper and cut out. Gather all materials needed.
2. Choose one piece of cardboard to be the base cardboard. Mark the center line. This can be done horizontally or vertically.
3. Cut on the heavy lines around the locking arm of the pattern.
4. Trace the pattern onto the second piece of cardboard, including the locking arm section and cut on the heavy lines on the cardboard. Trace the dotted lines on cardboard.
5. Fold on the center line of the cardboard. Fold the locking arm out.
6. Align the second piece of cardboard against the bottom edge of the base piece of cardboard.
7. Carefully glue the second piece of cardboard to the first, being careful not to glue any of the leg or locking arm.
8. Let the glue dry.
9. Once the glue is dry, take the locking arm and fold over the back of the leg.
That’s it! Now you have a great paper easel for your kid to present with. This can easily be folded up and put away for future projects as well, so the next time they wait until the last moment to tell you about a project, you’ll be ready!

Missing teeth can be a cause of discomfort for a lot of people. We remember our grandparents’ toothless grin and when we try to picture ourselves with that same face we feel a chill of embarrassment. Thankfully, dentures were made to not only replicate the biting pattern that teeth are needed for, but also for appearances.
Types of Dentures
There are two different types of dentures; partials and complete. Partial dentures are when only a few teeth are missing (two front teeth, bottom six teeth, etc.) and they will match your other teeth. Dentures can provide you with an almost exact color match to your own teeth so you will not be able tell where the partial begins and your real teeth end. Complete dentures are when all your teeth have been removed and you will have two complete denture pieces- upper and lower.
Some dentists can make dentures immediately. These are dentures you can use immediately following teeth removal. You can also wait until the mouth bone and gums have become stable, it's all a matter of comfort. Permanent dentures are made through a more lengthy process- multiple fittings, dental impressions, and oral impressions are completed before the dentures are actually fabricated. Adjustments can be made if they don’t fit the first time, although it can take some time to get used to them. Your gums may be a little sore, but with proper dentures you should experience very little pain.
Do Dentures Look Fake?
Most people can not tell when a person is wearing dentures. There have been great advances in oral science that have made dentures appear more like real teeth. They have also become much more reliable and less likely fall out of your mouth while eating. Something that can ease the transition from your natural teeth to dentures is practicing doing things alone at first; eating, drinking, and speaking can be a little difficult after being fitted for dentures. Practice makes perfect! Dentures are not a shameful item but one that will bring normalcy back to your mouth.
